Your journey to the Lucky Ranch begins with a scenic drive to the historical, off-grid property. Join me on the deck for intros and a foraged snack/ beverage, while we go over the Essentials of Foraging Hand Out I have created, for you to take home. I will share with you the rich history of the Lucky Ranch, and the deeply spiritual connection it holds today. We may even be joined by my horses or some wildlife!
Follow me around the ranch to different ecosystems, as we investigate, identify and even taste what we find. There are no promises of what the land with hold for us on any given day. Mushrooms are the most likely after 7/4 and are best in August. As we approach edible and medicinal plants, I will teach you how to identify them, and hold a sign next to them, so you can take a picture to practice when you’re on your own!
Classes are for participants over the age of 10.
Each guest must purchase a ticket. We do not do refunds, but you may send someone else in your place, if you can no longer make it.
