3 Day RetreatFest Pass

This is our first Camping Retreat and we are so excited to host you! This event will take place on a beautiful, private, 250+ acre ranch in Bailey, CO. This ranch is surrounded by National Forest and traversed by the Colorado Trail. No one else forages the property, so there will be plenty for everyone to find! See flyover footage of the gorgeous campsite here!

This is for our full 3 day offering.

This includes: All activities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Camping Friday and Saturday Night, with the option to stay and camp Sunday at no additional cost. A foraging tote, inoculated log, wild crafted beauty product, foraged tea, and all of the things you forage while you’re there!

The RetreatFest will kick off on Friday the 26th! Arrival starts at 12 and our first demonstration will be at 3. This demo will be on mushroom tincture making and will be followed by a class on foraged cocktails/ mocktails.
You will provide your own meals on this day. We will end the night with a fire, acoustic professional music (if this isn’t your vibe we have campsites that are far away from the fire pit and very quiet), and an optional Amanita ceremony to promote great sleep!

On Saturday we will begin with foraged beverages and introduce everyone to the instructors and one another. Next we will split off into 2 groups. One group will go on a Plant Identification walk with Wild Food Girl, while the other makes an inoculated log with the Lucky Ranch Crew. Once complete, we will switch groups, before making foraged pesto together! Lunch will be served on this day. We will have pasta with foraged pesto and a salted salad that incorporates foraged greens. You will learn how to prepare the salad and pesto through a hands on demonstration, but most of lunch will be premade for you!

After lunch there will be some laid back activities that you can choose to participate in, or you can relax and enjoy the ranch while you explore the acreage and forage! If you’d like to participate in the activities, we will have a wild crafting class for beauty products and a climbing wall supplied by our friends from Edge of the Wood. We will end the night with a fire, foraged shortbread cookies, and an optional amanita ceremony.

Sunday will be our big Mushroom Foray! We will kick off the morning with mushroom tea, and hit the ground running with our Foray Leader, Josh Vogeler. For 4 hours you will search for mushrooms, then we will get together in the shade to ID and prep the mushrooms to take home! After this you are free to head home around 2 PM. I did reserve the venue for an extra night, so if you have the time, you are welcome to camp for one more night and head out Monday morning.

This is a really special place that has been preserved and maintained in a way that keeps it as natural and lightly trafficked as possible. The campsites are for primitive camping. This means that you may camp in a tent, car, or RV, but there will not be any hook ups. Many composting toilets will be on site and they are cleaned daily. Potable and Non-potable water will be provided. There will be a “privacy station” for changing and taking light “bird baths”, but showers will not be provided.

Prices are per person. You will need to provide your own camping accommodations and meals/ food storage for the duration of the RetreatFest.
